The Three Formulas Compared

Devine (1974) was originally derived for medication dosing and remains the most cited. Height Conversion and Practical Use

The calculator takes height in centimeters because that is the clinical standard worldwide, but the formulas were built on inches. The conversion is exact: 1 inch = 2.54 cm and 5 feet = 152.4 cm.
